Backup and DR auto-protection for Compute Engine instances and disks is GA

Support for automating resource protection for Compute Engine instances and disks at scale in Backup and DR is generally available (GA). By using auto-protection policies and resource labels, you can automatically assign a backup plan to qualifying resources across projects based on user-defined labels.
