OpenAI's GPT-Image-2.6 Sunburst and Flare is now generally available, with SVG and animated GIF output. Plus Gemini TTS voice remixing, S3 Tables migration and Interconnect last mile, in Wednesday's cloud updates.
It generates and edits images with adjustable complexity, and it can also guide edits using markup.
From Google, Gemini 3.8 text-to-speech lets you modify prebuilt or designed voices with natural-language instructions to create new stored voices.
Over at AWS, Amazon S3 Tables can now validate, convert and copy Glue Hive Parquet tables to Iceberg, and you pay only for copied data.
AWS Interconnect last mile with Equinix is in preview, offering private connections from 282 Equinix data centers with MACsec by default.
