Anthropic previews server-side message threads that expire five minutes after your last request. Plus Defender for IoT OT, Lambda Kafka queues and four more, in Monday's cloud updates.
Message threads let later requests send only the new messages instead of the whole conversation.
On Azure, Defender for IoT OT will be fully retired in October 2029 after a three-year transition.
Over at AWS, Lambda share groups let Kafka processing scale beyond partition count, up to 10 invocations per poller.
From Google Cloud, Cloud NGFW Enterprise now inspects file transfers in a sandbox and blocks zero-day malware.
Azure Site Recovery for Azure Local now replicates Windows and Linux VMs to Azure for failover and failback.
Cloudflare AI Search billing is postponed to December 1, 2026, and its default sync interval goes from 6 to 24 hours.
Amazon Inspector can now scan EC2 AMIs for vulnerabilities without launching instances or installing software.
So, that's Monday. The one to act on: Azure fully retires Defender for IoT OT in October 2029.
