Gemini Enterprise prepaid credits generally available for Pay-as-you-go usage
Gemini Enterprise: Prepaid credits for Pay-as-you-go subscriptions and usage above quota
Prepaid credits are generally available (GA) for self-serve (online) Cloud Billing accounts. You can buy credits to pay for usage without an invoiced billing account. Your billing account's credit balance covers usage in the Pay-as-you-go edition and pay-as-you-go usage above quota in the Gemini Enterprise app, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and AI developer tools, such as Google Antigravity. Pay-as-you-go subscriptions have no license fee because you pay for what you use at pay-as-you-go rates. Cloud Billing still bills your account directly for seat-based license fees in editions such as Standard and Plus.
- Buy credits and configure auto-reload: Buy prepaid credits, track your balance and transactions, and configure auto-reload with an optional monthly auto-charge limit. Usage is blocked if your credit balance reaches zero or a project reaches its monthly spend limit. Because credits are deducted after usage occurs, your balance might briefly drop below zero if usage occurs before the deduction runs.
- Use AI developer tools on self-serve accounts: With an upgraded paid self-serve billing account and an active non-trial Gemini Enterprise subscription, you can enable AI developer tools and pay with prepaid credits for Pay-as-you-go edition usage or pay-as-you-go usage above quota. Eligible editions include Standard, Plus, eligible Standard Emerging Market, and Pay-as-you-go. Free-trial subscriptions, free-tier billing accounts, and reseller-managed subaccounts aren't eligible.
- Monitor costs and invoices: View 30-day costs across the Gemini Enterprise app, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and AI developer tools, and view and download prepayment and monthly consumption invoices.
