AlphaGenome adds unified gRPC and HTTP streaming, keeps alphagenome-003

AlphaGenome gRPC and unified HTTP serving support

AlphaGenome (alphagenome-004) now supports unified HTTP/2 gRPC streaming and chunked binary protobuf HTTP streaming on Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform:

  • Streams compressed binary tensor chunks directly over gRPC on shared endpoints (PredictionService.StreamDirectRawPredict on port 8081) and chunked binary protobuf payloads (proto_b64) over HTTP on dedicated endpoints (streamRawPredict on port 8080) across all seven DnaModelService methods (predict_sequence, predict_interval, predict_variant, score_variant, score_interval, score_ism_variants, and output_metadata) and 11 genomic modalities, reducing latency for 1 MB track predictions.
  • Supports concurrent multi-variant evaluation for in silico saturation mutagenesis (score_ism_variants) without HTTP gateway timeouts.
  • Supports model fold selection (ALL_FOLDS, FOLD_0, FOLD_1, FOLD_2, and FOLD_3) across both gRPC and HTTP clients through the unified alphagenome_cloud_sdk Python SDK.
  • Retains alphagenome-003 in Model Garden for backward compatibility with existing legacy HTTP deployments.
