GDC bare metal: corrected fix versions for Metrics API TLS errors after CA rotation

The release notes for the following versions incorrectly stated that a fix for an issue where Metrics API operation, like kubectl top, Horizontal Pod Autoscaling, and Vertical Pod Autoscaling, could fail with TLS verification errors during certificate authority (CA) rotation:

This issue is fixed in the following versions:

  • 1.34.700-gke.93 and later 1.34 patch versions
  • 1.35.300-gke.87 and later 1.35 patch versions
  • All 1.36 and later versions

This issue is not fixed in any 1.33 release as of this writing.

To get the fix, upgrade your clusters to one of these versions.

If you can't upgrade or you use a 1.33 version, see the workaround in Metrics API becomes unavailable after CA rotation.
