GKE C4D bare metal machine types generally available

The C4D bare metal machine types (c4d-standard-384-metal, c4d-highcpu-384-metal, and c4d-highmem-384-metal) are generally available on GKE. You can create C4D bare metal node pools in Standard clusters that run version 1.36 or later.

In version 1.37.0-gke.4713000 or later, you can also use C4D bare metal nodes with cluster autoscaler, node auto-provisioning, and custom ComputeClasses, including in Autopilot clusters that use a custom ComputeClass. In earlier versions, you must scale C4D bare metal node pools manually.

For more information, see Machine support with GKE.
