Hyperdisk multi-writer mode extends to C3 bare metal and C4, generally available

Generally available: Expanded machine series support for sharing the same Hyperdisk volume between instances:

  • C3 bare metal instances support multi-writer mode for Hyperdisk Balanced volumes.
  • C4 instances created after May 1, 2026, support multi-writer mode for Hyperdisk Balanced, Hyperdisk Extreme, and Hyperdisk Balanced High Availability volumes.
