Generally Available: Service-managed failover in Azure DocumentDB

Azure DocumentDB is excited to announce the general availability of service-managed failover for multi-region clusters. In the event of a regional outage, Azure DocumentDB will automatically fail over the globally distributed cluster from the primary region to the secondary region, without any user intervention needed.
