With these latest updates in public preview, Microsoft Foundry enables developers to enrich agents with real-time business context, multimodal capabilities, and custom business logic through a unified catalog of Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools.​

• Unified tool discovery: Developers can now find, connect, and manage public or private MCP tools for agents from a single, secure interface in Microsoft Foundry.​
• Deep business integration: Logic Apps connectors provide access to 1,400+ systems like SAP, Salesforce, and HubSpot as MCP tools, enabling agents to quickly integrate with core business services and act on real-time business data and events.​
• Pre-built AI tools: New Foundry Tools provide out-of-the-box capabilities for transcription, translation, voice, and intelligent document processing, available as MCP servers for rapid agent development.​
• Custom extensibility: Through API Management, any API or function can be securely exposed as an MCP tool, enabling developers to reuse existing business logic and further accelerate time to value.
