Public Preview: Support for Italian and Portuguese in Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL full-text search

Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL now supports Italian and Portuguese languages in full-text search, available today in public preview. This update adds to the list of supported languages, enabling you to build rich, language-aware search experiences that understand the linguistic nuances of Italian and Portuguese text.

You can more easily create multilingual applications that deliver a natural and localized search experience for users across Europe and Latin America. Whether you’re building e-commerce catalogs, customer knowledge bases, or AI-powered chat and discovery tools, you can now seamlessly search across Italian and Portuguese content without needing to preprocess or translate data.
