Public Preview: Azure SQL updates for November 2025

In November 2025, the following updates and enhancements were made to Azure SQL: 

  • View, modify, insert rows in a table without manually writing T-SQL code using the interactive Edit Data interface in the MSSQL extension for Visual Studio Code. Learn more. 

  • Import and export DACPACs—now available in the MSSQL extension. Apply DACPAC files to new or existing databases or generate new files from existing databases. Learn more.
