Public Preview: Azure Copilot brings new intelligent agents to support end-to-end lifecycle management of workloads

Azure Copilot introduces specialized agents (gated preview) to help migrate, operate, and modernize workloads anywhere. Copilot evolves chat into an immersive, full-screen command center (public preview) powered by GPT-5 reasoning, artifact generation, and ARM-driven scenarios. Customers get contextual, multi-modal, and personalized experiences, including chat history and inline actions. A compliance-first architecture and Bring Your Own Storage (public preview) let customers manage chat data securely and control data residency. The new agents (gated preview) are as follows:

• Deployment Agent: Streamlines environment planning and guided infrastructure deployment.
• Migration Agent: Automates cloud migration, generates AI recommendations, and modernizes apps.
• Optimization Agent: Finds cost and carbon savings and enables direct action.
• Observability Agent: Diagnoses full-stack app issues and suggests mitigation using Azure Monitor.
• Resiliency Agent: Offers resiliency insights, auto-remediation, and ransomware protection.
• Troubleshooting Agent: Pinpoints issues, suggests fixes, and guides AKS troubleshooting.
